Bishops Original Products is the inventor and developer behind many great private labels for more than 50 years.

The Beginning

In 1974, John Bishop Sr. developed a product that worked with lubricants to create a 1-to-2 micron thin coating that permanently protected the moving metal parts of an engine. The product line expanded from there, and the formula has been sold since then under numerous private labels around the world.

We are now ready to open our doors to the world in order to help them with their vehicles, equipment, weapons, sealed mechanical systems, or vehicle they have that glides, swims, rolls or flys.

Lubrilon: Lubrication for Long Life

Originally, John Bishop’s product was called “Lubrilong.” However, the “g” was dropped and Lubrilon came to life. This initial formula has brought several brands to life over the last few decades. Lubrilon, Slick 50 (1978-1984), Duration, Camtron II, Z-Bond, and others. Today we are bringing the Bishop’s Original label to market along with all the product lines Mr. Bishop has developed since the 1970s.

U.S. Department of Energy

The U.S. Department of Energy owns one of the credible labs that tested and proved that the product invented by John Bishop actually reduced friction, and increased fuel mileage. The test done by the U.S. DOE proved that the product would in fact reduce U.S. fuel consumption by more than 100 million barrels of fuel per year.
